Mehedi Hasan crowned Mr World Bangladesh - NEW AGE

Mehedi Hasan Fahim won Mr World Bangladesh 2019 crown at the grand finale of the pageant held at International Convention City, Bashundhara at Kuril in the capital on Thursday. Fahim will represent Bangladesh at Mr World 2019 competition which is scheduled to be held in August 23 in Manila, the Philippines. Mahadi and Hanif jointly became first runners-up while Ahsan Raz and Hamza Khan Chowdhury jointly became second runners-up. ‘I have participated in the reality show for the first time. I want to thank the judges for naming me the winner of the contest. I am eagerly looking forward to representing Bangladesh in the Philippines. I want to do my best,’ said Fahim, who was born and brought up in Fatikchhari upazila of Chattogram. Mr World Bangladesh 2019 was organised by Antar Showbiz. ‘The judges selected the champion after conducting various grooming sessions. Fahim will leave Dhaka for the Philippines on August 6 to attend Mr World 2019 where contestants from 150 countries will participate,’ Swapan Chowdhury, chairman of Antar Showbiz, told New Age.
